The Kountze Little League board has voted to go with a new league called "Intermediate League".  This league includes 11, 12 and 13 year olds and replaces the current "major league".  Noted below are some of the changes that will be made due to the new league.

    

  • This league includes 11, 12 and 13 yr olds.
    • 

  • 70 foot bases and a 50 foot pitchers mound.
    • 

  • Junior league bat rules apply.
    • 

  • 7 inning game.  The game is official after 5 innings.
    • 

  • Real baseball rules apply (lead offs, pick offs, etc.).

World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser:  Team Mom's  - We still have a few teams who owe all or part of their chocolate money.  Please get that to us ASAP.  Also, there is some extra chocolate available if anyone would like to purchase some for themselves or take more to sell.  If interested, please get with Bambi or April.


The Senior League Boys schedule is now posted under the Team Info tab.


PICTURES ARE HERE!!! Team moms can pick them up out of the board room tonight. If you have pictures missing or have any issues, Buffy's cell phone number is on the wall above the pictures. Please give her a call. Also, if you had parents that mailed in their money and did not pay for the pictures the night they were taken, they will not be included in the packets. They will come separately because she does not oder them until they were paid for.


Trophys - Trophy selection and purchase are at the discretion of the team.  There will be someone at the ballpark you can order trophies from this Thurs (5/16) and Fri (5/17).  This vendor is not tied to the little league in any way, so please be sure to get contact information from him when placing your order.  Any issues/concerns/questions need to be addressed with the vendor directly.
